What I do...

Ultra Triathlons

I started in triathlon in 2005 and completed my first event, a half Ironman in Exmoor. The next year, I took on a full Ironman, and from there, it all got a little out of hand, and Double, Triple, Quin and Deca Ironman races followed.

And in 2019, I completed a Double Deca triathlon, which is x20 ironman distances in one go, which is a 48 mile swim, 2,240 miles on the bike and 20 marathons!

I am the only person in the UK to have finished a continuous Double Deca.

Brutal Events

I started Brutal Events in 2011 when I was looking for a double Ironman race with more exciting and challenging surroundings, to take part in. I found that none existed and decided to start my own event in North Wales.

The Brutal Extreme Triathlons were created. And athletes from all over the world come to test themselves on the hard and hilly course, that finishes with a run up and down Snowdon, Wales’ highest mountain!

As well as the Triathlons, I organise extreme running, biking and swimming events all over the UK. It’s hard work, but I love helping people push themselves and achieve their dreams.

Writing & Talks

I began writing my first book a few years ago, when friends and people I’ve met through events, started saying I should document all my adventures. I really enjoy the writing process and Becoming Brutal is almost ready to be published and will be on sale very soon. I have two other books planned for the next few years.

I am also available for public speaking events, get in touch if you would like to book me for your event.
